We are proud to announce that Caledonia Group has merged with and taken a controlling interest in Halson Group, a national multi skilled trade-based rope access provider.
Halson’s services are wholly complimentary to Caledonia’s existing suite of services, which currently includes:
- Scaffolding labour, hire and sales
- Insulation and Cladding
- Design and Engineering
- Consulting on and delivering innovative solutions to technical and complex scaffold projects otherwise considered unachievable.
This complimentary and natural merger has enabled Caledonia to immediately deliver additional services to clients, including:
- Mechanical Trades IRATA Level 1, 2, and 3 including boilermakers and mechanical fitters, painters and blasters
- Electrical and Instrumentation Tech’s Irata Level 1, 2 and 3.
- IRATA Level 3 Supervision
- Riggers/scaffolders (rope access based)
Halson Group is Overseen by Paul Stevenson (insulation and cladding background, IRATA Board Member) and James Halliday (rope access and scaffolding background). When coupled with Caledonia’s existing Senior Management Team, the merged Group will naturally form a formidable force.
Caledonia Group grew from a small, locally based family business and has been able to transition into a National and International business without losing nimble people and client-based decision making. All Group activity and Corporate Governance duties will continue to be overseen and directed by Caledonia Groups existing Board and Executive Directors, David Stephen and Jim Cunningham.
This seamless merger already has and will continue to enhance Caledonia’s footprint in Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
