Caledonia Group were delighted to have been engaged by the Gateway South Joint Venture to provide access and edge protection services on the $141 million Flinders Link Project; extending the existing Tonsley rail line to the Flinders Medical Centre to create new connections to the health, innovation and education precincts.
Utilising an innovative multi-slab clamp system instead of traditional drill-in anchoring, Caledonia’s edge protection proposal eliminated costly patching and re-work associated with traditional anchor bolting. In addition, installation time was reduced considerably as a result.
