Caledonia was awarded a contract with Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) for the works completed on their shipyard. As part of this venture, we were tasked with executing scaffolding access works for Lendlease as part of the stage 1 of the Osbourne South shipyard infrastructure upgrade. A series of Layher designed stretcher staircases were provided by Caledonia in various sizes, up to 50m in height. The use of Lytamesh as a substitute to standard shade cloth provided a flame-retardant solution. Crane-able sections were lifted into place, both reducing risk and increasing efficiency.
