Caledonia Scaffolding was engaged by PCM Group to design, engineer and build a scaffold to allow access for works to be completed on Hillary’s Lighthouse in WA. The Layher Allround system was used to create this high access solution for the maintenance work. This involved blasting, painting and fabrication repairs to the lighthouse.
The project comprised 10 working decks and stair access that extended the full height of the lighthouse. The client was most impressed to see the entire installation completed by the Caledonia crew within 4 days.
Colin Gibson, Project Manager for Caledonia Scaffolding said “Due to high wind loadings and the adaptability of the equipment, Layher Allround was the obvious choice of scaffold for this project.”
