Even though we’re in the midst of winter, we’re not feeling the cold here at Caledonia! Our team have been hard at work smashing out jobs efficiently, effectively, and safely. Catch up on the past month below.
Insulation & Cladding
Our I&C team have just completed the pre-fabrication of three feeder tanks for a WA client. These works were completed in our Gnangara fabrication yard, significantly minimising our footprint on site, allowing for a seamless installation process. The fabrication was completed using high grade 316 stainless steel to account for the tough environment on site. Another quality job from Clinton Bailey and his team.
The last of three 30m stretcher stair access towers was erected for our client, Lendlease, at their OSDP (Osborne South Development Project) site. All three were erected using the 1m lift technique, eliminating working at height risks. Job well done by Dave Eccles and his crew!
One of four fire retardant Lyta-Mesh encapsulated stretcher stair access towers that will eventually be topped up to 10m, erected for our client Lendlease at their OSDP (Osborne South Development Project) site.
Reward & Recognition Program
The Caledonia SA team recently congratulated Brenton Sadler on 15 years of service with the company. Brenton joined Caledonia back in 2004 and has been an important member of the team, working on many of Caledonia’s major projects across South Australia. Brenton has developed a fantastic working relationship with our clients through his highly personable character and attention to detail; he is always prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a quality outcome for everyone. Most recently, Brenton has developed his skill set further by becoming Caledonia’s inaugural Drone Operator, obtaining his licence earlier this year. Brenton is pictured receiving a certificate of appreciation from SA Superintendent Dwaine Humphrys, along with a holiday break in the Barossa Valley. We thank Brenton for his service and loyalty to Caledonia thus far and look forward to the next 15 years!
David Eccles, Neil Dunlop and Jason Jamieson
Some of our crew have been awarded for their outstanding efforts across various sites in SA. They were recognised for their consistent, high standard of scaffolding and promoting a positive safety and quality culture which was supported by positive feedback from several clients. Congratulations to David Eccles, Neil Dunlop and Jason Jamieson (not pictured).
