Atlas East Hydrogen Construction:
Caledonia was contracted to conduct the prefabrication and installation of insulated compressor enclosures. A team of supervisors and 20 x sheet metal workers were mobilised in June 2024 to work on the project with a 3:1 roster. Our team onsite were originally contracted for phase 1 specifically; however, our contract was extended to phase 2 on construction, thanks to the continuous efforts of our team. The first phase of this venture required 6 x compressor skids and the scope of work for each involved prefabricating and insulating all walls, doors, hatches, and rooves. This had to be completed prior to lifting the compressors into position, as per the specifications and installation methodologies.

Supply and Installation of Thermobreak 9705 Insulation to Oceania Dairy’s Fireline’s:
Our team was engaged by Oceania Dairy Timaru to provide an alternative insulation solution for temperature control of the lines. With the traditional method used, the plant could only run at a maximum temperature of 55 degrees. The original hope was for a 5–10-degree increase; however, with the application of an alternative insulation system introduced by our team, the plant is now running at 85 degrees.

Prelude Floating Liquified Natural Gas Platform (FLNG):
Caledonia were engaged by Pressure Dynamics to provide a team of 3 x rope access riggers and inspectors to support their crane inspection and maintenance contract. Our rope teams were engaged on a 3:3 roster with back-to-back crews throughout 2024. All of our rope access team hold valid working at heights certifications and are constantly undergoing safety refreshers. Our rope access riggers played a vital role in maintaining and servicing these cranes by using specialised access techniques that enabled them to reach complex areas. Their expertise ensures efficient and thorough work in challenging environments, often minimising downtime and enhancing safety standards.
