At Caledonia, we remain committed to improving ourselves in every area of our operation, and with the start of the New Year, we are taking this opportunity to outline our 2025 goals. From 1999 to now, we have achieved great successes, branching out from our beginning location in South Australia, to now having locations in Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland, and two New Zealand offices. Our 26 years in the industry precedes us and demonstrates our progressive skillsets; however, we strive to keep ourselves accountable for our business goals and are constantly learning from our industry peers.
Our Successes in 2024:
Over the last year, we have increased our staff numbers to over 500 employees and subcontractors collectively. We are always seeking skilled, innovative individuals to join our ranks and are open to personage from different walks of life.
We are actively investing in our employee’s development and funded over 15 interstate business trips throughout the year for training and education purposes. We thrive off our teams professional and personal development and believe in appropriate travel opportunities for career progression. In doing so, we commit to adhering to our high priority goal, “we will promote and foster a culture of mutual respect and accountability for our people”. When we invest in and help our employees grow, they do the same in return.
Further, our Business Development roles have been filled across all our locations, and our strategy and marketing team is working tirelessly to improve our business progression. In each location, we now have an appointed business development manager, alongside our Senior Sales, Strategy and Marketing Manager and Social Media and Marketing Coordinator based in Queensland. With a complete team, we are prepared to further our market reach and drive our revenue growth upwards in revolutionary ways.
We hired our first internal Social Media and Marketing Coordinator and have seen great successes across all of our online platforms. Our website has seen advanced changes and higher traction over the second half of 2024 and will continue to see extensive growth into the coming 12 months.
Our Strategic and Professional Goals for the 2025 New Year:
Moving into the 2025 season, we are prepared to work hard to ensure that we are not only meeting our goals but exceeding them. This New Year is a season of change and improvement, and we are excited to take part in bettering our business delivery. We are constantly on a path of improvement and looking for new ways to operate.
In this new business season, we will be prioritising building our understanding of our client’s needs and creating strategic methods of meeting these needs. Through our social media channels and client surveys, we are committed to actively acting on any feedback received and improving our service delivery. We will be focusing on growing our client relationships and are dedicated to reaching their standards.
In the next year, we are also committed to embracing sustainability efforts and bettering our already existing sustainability practices. Starting with separate industrial size recycling and general waste bins, we are making concerted efforts to become a greener company. Currently in New Zealand, we are green seal certified with Good Wrap Recycling – meaning, we recycle up to 75% of our used construction shrink wrap. This New Year, we aim to achieve the ‘Silver’ certification and recycle between 75-90% of our plastic waste.
We will also be leveraging advanced technologies to create our 3D designs and animations. We work with chartered design engineers to create access management solutions and provide clients with virtual reality walkthroughs of their job sites. We pride ourselves on our open lines of communications with our clients, and this relationship often starts in the design and engineering phase of the project.
Additionally, we will be dedicating time and resources into developing our social media presence and creating a brand visual. We are proud of the online community that we have built over the years but this New Year, we are also aiming to improve our community ties and are striving to communicate more with our supporters and clients through our social media platforms. We are excited to share our accomplishments with the public, and congratulate others on their wins.
