David Stephen is an experienced leader, manager and company director with over eighteen years of management experience gained in Australia and Britain. His experience spans both the public and private sectors.
Commencing his career at the age of 16 with Central Scotland Police, David’s first real leadership and management role within the Force commenced when he was 24. Part of David’s journey over the years included taking part in intensive leadership & management development and training, which he still regards today as second to none.
In particular, David has successful track record in organising and executing numerous high and low profile operations, some extremely sensitive, combined with specialist policing in areas such as Public Order and CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear). Working under pressure and making correct decisions with limited time and information has become second nature, as his psychometric profile strongly confirms.
Since moving to Australia in 2008 David used the skills and experience gained in Britain to assist in managing the growth and success of Caledonia Scaffolding. This included continual re-structuring of the organisation as it grew, implementing many business and performance improvements along the way, particularly in relation to accounting and finance.
Over the past ten years David has successfully overseen Caledonia provide services simultaneously on some of the most significant projects in Australia, including the Chevron operated Gorgon Project which is nearing 1,000,000 man hours alone.
As well as non-civilian qualifications gained in Britain, David is a graduate from the Australian Institute of Business with a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and is nearing completion of his Masters.
Tim has over 20 years of experience in the Civil, Infrastructure and Manufacturing industries. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer and has carried out Leadership and General Management roles across multiple disciplines in New Zealand and Britain.
Tim’s goal is to be renowned as a genuine leader that creates, develops and excites the best performing teams, and makes a positive impact to all involved.
Creating a customer driven culture, where safety is an outcome of great systems, detailed planning, ownership and respect at all levels is something that Tim takes pride in.
He has successfully introduced Lean Manufacturing and construction principles to projects and supply chains.
Tim’s experience of leadership, governance and directorship of large construction and maintenance projects makes him critically aware of his client’s key drivers. He has a track record of leading teams to work collaboratively and efficiently on all projects no matter how big or small.
The recognition that you’re only as strong as your weakest link has helped Tim create a work environment where staff are developed, looked after and are consistently held accountable to the values and standards of the business.
Jim Cunningham has two decades of experience as managing director of one of Australia’s largest privately owned scaffolding companies.
As well as acute business acumen, he is particularly experienced in advanced rigging & scaffolding, mechanical building & construction all within the oil, gas & mining sectors.
He has personally worked for Transfield Services, McDow, Amec, Baulderstone Hornibrook, ABB, Simon Carves, Ottoway Engineering and many more. His forte is finding the smartest solutions to any task by applying his twenty five years of experience in mechanical construction mostly gleaned from extensive time spent on shutdowns across Australia.
During his time at Caledonia, Jim has helped win contracts on many billion-dollar Infrastructure projects such as Adelaide Superway, Adelaide Desalination Plant, NRAH as well as one of the biggest in Australia`s history, Chevron`s Gorgon Project on Barrow Island.
Jim has a Diploma in Leadership & Management and a high risk licences in advanced scaffolding, rigging & crane operation (60T).
Over the last 12 yrs, Mike has held numerous positions from supervisor through to senior management roles covering scaffolding, SMP general operations and safety on numerous projects across Australia and the Middle East (Iraq). Projects covered have included TMO Moomba Santos, Tails Leach Upgrade, TSF5 and ODP1 Olympic Dam BHP, Gorgon Jetty, Barrow Island Leightons and Ichthys LNG, INPEX with UGL Kentz JV.
Mike has gained extensive experience in leading and managing teams in demanding construction projects either with the client team , the contractor or the subcontractor all with Safety, Quality and Progress as the target objectives. His knowledge has been further enhanced through completion of MBA and working closely with Executive Leadership Coach over the past two years.
Mike brings a practical approach to his management style and is able to provide strategic viewpoint to tasks and situations looking from position of either client, contractor or subcontractor to ensure win win outcome for all.

Adrian is an experienced financial professional and has been working as a Chartered Accountant in public practice for over 15 years. He has been a Director at William Buck Chartered Accountants & Advisors since 2008.
During his years in public practice, Adrian has successfully provided clients with advice on; business improvement, business strategy, banking and external finance, valuation assessments and merger and acquisition transactions. The key to this success has been his strong commercial focus, keen eye for detail and ensuring clients have a clear understanding of the opportunities and issues.
Adrian has a Bachelor of Commerce, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand (with merits), is a Chartered Tax Advisor and holds a Real Estate License.
Adrian has advised some of Australia’s most successful businesses across a wide range of industries and has assisted with managing rapid business growth and providing strategic direction.
